And from day one, that story starts to scatter: one portal for the hospital, another for the pediatrician, a folder of discharge papers, a growth chart on the fridge, photos and half-remembered dates on two phones.

Every clinic keeps its own piece. MyChart belongs to the provider, not to you. Switch pediatricians, move to a new state, age out of a practice, and the story fragments again. Nobody hands you the whole thing, because nobody owns the whole thing.

FamilyStork is built on a different idea: the record belongs to the child.

A parent starts the record at birth and stewards it: every checkup, every vaccine, every milestone, every "she felt warm tonight" note, every lab result a clinic emails in. The record grows up alongside the child. It speaks in the child's own voice, because that is whose story it is.

Then comes the part nobody else offers. At adulthood, the parent hands the record to the child. Not a data export, not a settings toggle: a real transfer of ownership. Eighteen years of history, complete and in order, arriving exactly when a young adult starts navigating health care alone. From that day it is theirs, for life, through every move, every new doctor, every chapter, all the way to the end of the story.

Because the record is owned by your family, export and hand-down are rights, not features. You can take the whole record with you at any time, in full. You can pass it to the person it belongs to.
